“Rock the Congress: North Bay” will bring together 300 leading North Bay activists to transform American politics. Our dire political situation demands that Progressives unite, collaborate, and campaign together
Our one-day conference operationalizes the age-old American principle of “E Pluribus Unum”—out of many, one—so that we can defeat Trump and his Republican enablers, and achieve our vision of a more progressive America.
“Rock the Congress: North Bay” will feature:
- Top-notch speakers including Representative Jared Huffman and Becky Bond, CREDO SuperPac President and former Senior Advisor to the Bernie Sanders campaign.
- An operational plan for inter-organizational electoral collaboration
- Training sessions by Democracy Labs, activists from swing districts, and leading lights of the local Progressive movement. Workshops cover direct action, technology, messaging, media, and other.
- Networking opportunities with other leading activists representing at least two dozen organizations including Indivisible, OFA, MVCAN, Democracy Action, DFA, MoveOn, Our Revolution, Sister District, Swing Left, unions, issue-focused organizations, and other electorally focused groups.

We are a 100% volunteer event put on by members of Bay Area progressive organizations and any unspent funds will be rolled over to our next event, likely “Rock the Congress: East Bay”. Will there be Rock The Congress conferences in other locations?
Yes, an expected series of 4-6 “sub-regional” events is planned, culminating in a larger 1000+ person event next Spring, which will cover all of Northern California.
Will there be food?
Yes. Coffee, morning/afternoon snacks, and a full boxed lunch are included in your registration. We will also have food, beer, and wine provided for the afterparty. We will send out an email soon to ask about dietary restrictions.
