 Climate Change: Taking It Local

Presented by Napa Climate Now! and League of Women Voters Napa Valley
Climate change is happening. It’s a big deal. It impacts all of us. And…there is something we can do about it.
Join us on October 18 to find out more about the current status of Napa’s Climate Action Plan, how we can lessen the effect of greenhouse gases – especially those other than CO2 that we don’t hear much about and that are also raising global temperatures sooner than predicted. Come and learn how best we, as concerned citizens, can act locally as we think globally.
This presentation will be given by Lynne Baker, a nurse, mother, grandmother who is deeply concerned about the impact of climate change, particularly on the health of the planet and all its inhabitants.  Lynne is a learner,  happily willing to share whatever she possibly can with others so that all of us, together, can act to make a difference now and for generations to come. Lynne is a member of the Sierra Club and of Napa Climate NOW! and a faculty member at St. Mary’s College where she teaches leadership and ethics.
