Have you sent in your application for the 2018 City of Napa Citizens Academy yet? This program was designed to help Napa residents learn more about their city government. And you could could be part of it! The program starts on February 7th and concludes on April 4th, 2018.
It’s a FREE program for Napa residents 18 and over.
Sessions will be held on Wednesday evenings from 5:30pm to 9 pm, and will conclude with a citywide bus tour, and a graduation ceremony.
Academy members will:
- Meet City Council members, department heads and staff
- Learn how decisions are made, how city funds are allocated and how departments operate
- Enjoy comprehensive overviews of departments, programs and services
- Tour a firehouse, check out the police station, learn how your water is distributed, see how your roads are repaired and so much more!
